How do I know if my child is ready for piano lessons?

-We prefer to start a child around 5 years old, however, if your child can sit and concentrate for 20-30 minutes at a time (with short mental breaks in between) and has good fine motor skills, we would say they are ready. Children should also express interest in studying an instrument. Piano is the best place to start!

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Practice makes improvement! Ultimately, our goal as musicians is to take all of our hard work in the practice room to the stage. Performance keeps us motivated and gives us a reason to keep practicing.

We offer at least two recitals each year,  that will showcase our studio and all of your hard work. Although they are not mandatory, we do encourage you to perform in at least one recital each year. Recitals will be held at a local venue and you will receive this information during your lesson.
